Customer complaints (banks and insurance)


The Customer Protection Department at the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia receives complaints related to banks, insurance and financing companies.

Examples of violations that you can object to:

◀️ Increase in fees without notifying you in advance.
◀️ Closing the bank account without telling you the reasons.
◀️ Request for a fee to open a bank account.
◀️ Telling relatives and friends about your bad debts.
◀️ Changing the terms of the agreement without informing the customer in advance.
◀️ Request to pay fees to obtain an account statement.
◀️ Sending you envelopes indicating in their cover the collection of debts.
◀️ Electronic advertisements for bank or insurance company products and services, without the customer’s consent.
◀️ Non-compliance of insurance companies to offer the discount percentage to owners of a record free of claims for vehicle insurance.
